I’m a recent HCI grad and current UX researcher with an interest in user experience research, tech ethics, AR/VR interfaces, accessibility, and understanding how data shapes the way we interact with technology. My master’s thesis research focused on how people react to and interact with creative deepfakes on social media.
Before my graduate studies, I worked as a back-end software engineer (ask me anything about databases!) I also have a strong background (and love of) non-profit spaces. I did some of my best work as an AmeriCorps after-school and curriculum specialist at the YWCA Family Center for women and children experiencing homelessness and as a K-8 academic coordinator.
In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with various games and projects in Unity 3d. I also enjoy scrolling my Twitter feed for tech tips and memes.
